Assessment criteria where the standard is infringed: The extent to which a reduced height: Will compromise or preclude future alternative ground floor uses; Is necessary to provide for functional needs or operational needs of a proposed activity; Whether topographical or other site constraints make compliance with the standard impracticable or unnecessary; The extent to which the ground floor level will be able to be used or adapted for future non-residential activities; and Whether, for any additions or alterations, the existing ground floor height infringes the standard.
