Minimum building height A minimum height of 7m is required for: New buildings or structures; and Additions to the frontages of existing buildings. This standard does not apply to: Accessory buildings, ancillary to the primary activity on the site. Assessment criteria where the standard is infringed; The extent to which a reduced height: Is necessary to provide for functional needs or operational needs of a proposed activity; Whether topographical or other site constraints make compliance with the standard impracticable or unnecessary; and Whether, for any additions or alterations, the existing ground floor height meets the standard.
