LAND

has the same meaning as in section 2 of the RMA (as set out in the box below) includes land covered by water and the airspace above land; and in a national environmental standard dealing with a regional council function under section 30 or a regional rule, does not include the bed of a lake or river; and in a national environmental standard dealing with a territorial authority function under section 31 or a district rule, includes the surface of water in a lake or river.
