BORE

means any hole drilled or constructed in the ground that is used to: investigate or monitor conditions below the ground surface; or abstract gaseous or liquid substances from the ground; or discharge gaseous or liquid substances into the ground; but it excludes test pits, trenches, soak holes and soakage pits.
