Ahi Kā Recognise and enable Taranaki Whānui and Ngāti Toa Rangatira cultural associations and landowner and development interests in the City Centre Zone by: Providing for the development of papakāinga, kaumātua housing and affordable Māori housing on their landholdings; Managing new development adjoining scheduled sites of significance to Māori; and Collaborating on the design and incorporation of traditional cultural elements into public space within the zone.
